Citrine is a variety of quartz whose color ranges from a pale yellow to a warm dark amber orange with some natural inclusions. Citrine was first appreciated as a golden-yellow gemstone in Greece between 300 and 150 BC, during the Hellenistic Age.
Said to represent abundance, prosperity, joy, and energy. Citrines have long been revered as bringers of luck, especially in business and trade; some even call this gem the Merchants’ Stone.
