Rhodochrosite is a manganese carbonate mineral and is typically a rose-red color, but can be shades of pink to pale brown. Those I use are a bright, warm shade of pink with white lace-like banding.
Said to be a symbol of happiness and healing, compassion, deep love, and comfort.
