This is a 5mm x 7mm oval turquoise mosaic stone, set in a sterling silver bezel, on a slim sterling silver band.
Turquoise is an opaque, blue-to-green mineral that is a hydrated phosphate of copper and aluminium. It is rare and valuable in finer grades and has been prized as a gemstone and ornamental stone for thousands of years owing to its unique hue. This turquoise natural untreated stone has little flecks and inclusions of brown matrix host rock and golden glints of pyrite.
